Job Summary

Our client is a privately owned property company who hold a mixed asset portfolio in the UK and Europe. With a healthy pipeline of development and acquisition opportunities it is a great time to join a business that is in a growth phase. As a consequence there is a live opportunity for a Facilities Manager/Building Manager to operate and manage one of their newly completed office buildings near to Amsterdam. This person will have the ability to take full P&L responsibility of the site and drive a successful operation.

Role Summary

To efficiently operate and manage a safe and well maintained building inclusive of all offices and common areas and to be responsible for leading a high performing team. Delivering a consistently high standard of customer service and facilities management, ensuring that the required company Health and Safety standards are met.

A proven Facilities/Building Manager skill set is required for this role.
  • You will have demonstrable experience of managing relationships and teams.
  • Demonstrate a high level of collaboration and plays an active role in team leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail oriented, efficient, and organised.
  • Excellent time manager – proactively manages workload and demonstrates excellent problem solving skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of compliance, all statutory local legislation and regulation, in particular H&S and Fire Safety.
  • Fluent speaking Dutch and English
  • Membership of IOSH
  • Experience of working within Commercial Real Estate/ Hospitality
