Petroplan are pleased to be working alongside an international solar project developer and operator based in Vienna Austria, who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team working on Battery Energy Storage Systems
The ideal candidate will be able to manage and develop projects assigned on battery market. The Project Developer will be likely to work on a range of projects over time, some earlier stage (acquisitions or greenfield) and some later stage. You may work on greenfield development or acquisitions of project rights.
Responsibilities:
Manage projects in development stage together with our international local teams
Implement technical solution
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, procurement, and operations
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities
Report on project progress and provide regular updates.
Requirements:
A degree of a technical university or college of engineering (HTL) preferred electrical engineering or similar
At least 3 years of project management experience in the electrical power industry preferable solar industry
Technical knowledge of battery storage systems and their associated components
Understanding of EPC and O&M contracts.
Willingness to travel and work in an international environment
Fluent or professional in German and English (both written and spoken).
Driving license of at least Type B.
