Summary Statement


As our Senior Strategy Manager Sales (d/f/m) at the company site in Duderstadt near Göttingen, you will provide strategic support to the Chief Sales Officer. In coordination with him, you will create strategic sales approaches and concepts.

Furthermore, you are the interface to Global Strategy and ensure that the sales initiatives are in-line with the group strategy. You will also work closely with the Vice Presidents for Patient Care and Go-to-Market as well as Regional Presidents and Cluster Heads.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • You coordinate the approaches/concepts defined with the CSO with Global Strategy and integrate them into the group strategies
  • You manage and support the sales transformation from products to holistic solution approaches
  • You independently structure the sales initiatives defined in the process
  • You will lead the change from B2B to a more B2C oriented market approach
  • The streamlining of processes and thus the development and implementation of cross-market consolidation and scaling options are part of your tasks
  • You will develop and implement procedures for strategy development and review for the entire sales area
  • You will map the developed strategies in structured implementation plans including milestones and KPIs and will successfully implement and monitor these plans at headquarters and regional level
  • You will take over the technical project management of a variety of ongoing complex projects and future topics in the markets
  • You manage and support cross-functional initiatives to make Ottobock business relationships as easy as possible and thus realize additional potential ("Ease of Business")
  • You develop a cross-market rule process for price adjustments - including cross-functional coordination on inflation development - and follow up on implementation
  • You will support the optimization of local pricing/discount structures
  • You will also assist in the development and implementation of the Sales Target Operating Model including the interfaces to other departments

Profile


  • You have completed your subject-specific studies with a Master's degree
  • You can demonstrate at least 8 years of relevant professional experience
  • You are experienced in determining and analyzing data/information for the preparation of decision documents
  • You bring a goal-oriented and analytical working method - your thinking is entrepreneurial, strategic and economic
  • You are a strong communicator at management level and a team player
  • Your Microsoft Office skills are very good - especially Excel and PowerPoint, OneNote and other management systems
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
  • You are flexible and willing to travel in any case
  • You are characterized by a high level of motivation and initiative
