June 23, 2023In this role you will serve as a trusted business partner, possessing strong capabilities to work across the organisation. The role will ensure accurate and timely reporting for the results and expense management of WTW. Assist business unit managers and management of the organisation in commercial decision making to achieve overall business improvement.
The Role
- Preparing and overseeing budgets and forecasts of WTW Vietnam, WTW Cambodia and SAS
- Preparing monthly financial reporting and analysis to meet the Group’s and local management requirements for the above entities
- Preparing business analytics and other financial analysis as required by the local management
- Participate in designing and developing the Company’s budget control system and report to the CFO on variances from established budget and reasons for those variances
- Establish and maintain financial procedures, ensuring compliance by reviewing internal controls and implementing new procedures if necessary
- Interpret the Company’s results and recommend improvement activities, including but not limited to, ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the Company
- To engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement
- Participate in all company accounting and finance related projects
- Other tasks assigned by the Company
The Requirements
- University degree with a major in Accounting & Finance
- Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or Assistant to Finance Manager with a foreign-invested company
- Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage
- Good understanding of VAS, USGAAP and local taxes
- Strong communication skills in both English and Vietnamese
- Proficient MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Leadership skills and the ability to work in a team
- A proactive and realistic approach to your work
