About the role
We are on the lookout for enthusiastic people who love being in service and connecting with people to join our team in permanent full-time roles as PRC (People's Republic of China) Retail Specialists.
In this unique role, you will be expected to:
- Achieve sales and margins, selling high quality products
- Actively seeking new tour groups, build and maintain relationships with customers to increase sales and brand awareness
- Market and promote the business effectively by working with our Commercial, Marketing, Operations and Partnerships teams
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A minimum of 2 years’ proven and successful experience dealing with travel agents, hotels, consulates, providores and tour groups
- Experience in coordinating and running marketing activities in the tour group market
- Ability to communicate fluently, both verbal and written, in Mandarin & English
- Expert experience using Chinese social media
- Strong interpersonal, persuasive selling and negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Good business sense with a sound understanding of the tour group market dynamics
- Exposure to international brands and retail operations
