Job Title: QHSER Manager
Location: Halden or Oslo, Norway
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a QHSER Manager, in either Halden or Oslo, and want someone who is available as soon as possible. Specializing in turnkey and offshore projects, they are committed to delivering high-quality services while ensuring the health, safety, and environmental sustainability of their operations.
Responsibilities:
As the QHSER Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Risk (QHSER) in our projects. Your main duties will include:
- Developing and implementing QHSER plans and procedures for projects
- Ensuring compliance with QHSER systems, client requirements, and applicable regulations
- Managing and communicating QHSER activities to the project team
- Monitoring and reporting KPIs related to QHSER
- Promoting a safety-first culture at project sites and facilitating safety measures
- Handling non-conformances, incidents, and client reporting
- Preparing project inspection and test plans and coordinating with clients and inspectors
- Assisting and coordinating audits, including client and supplier audits
- Establishing and maintaining the project risk register
- Leading knowledge management through the lessons learned register
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal QHSER procedures
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and competencies:
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a QA-, HSE-, and/or Risk Manager in manufacturing, installation, or offshore environments
- Strong project management skills and familiarity with project-driven organizations
- Adequate training and certification in QHSE and Risk Management preferred
- Knowledge of industrial processes, preferably in cable manufacturing or relevant industries, marine, and land installation works
- Familiarity with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) methodology
- University degree in MSc, MBA, or a similar field
- Fluent in English with proficiency in Scandinavian languages preferred
