Our client is highly ESG rated as they invest in green energy and in a variety of renewable sectors.
The company is new to Luxembourg, so you would be involved in the set up and development of the accounting and reporting functions for the business.
The company is bringing these accounting and reporting functions in-house from a service provider.
The role is a mix of core accounting and reporting functions for the Luxembourg holding company structures, you will have liaison with various internal stakeholders and service providers, plus drive project management initiatives. It’s a varied and interesting position allowing autonomy in your role, whilst working in a friendly, calm and supportive environment.

Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with the service provider and working with the internal Finance Manager to ensure relevant information is transferred effectively
- Working closely with the company secretary, finance director to maintain the financial and accounting governance of the holding companies
- Lead the complex accounting responsibilities; financial statements, bookkeeping, invoicing, annual accounts, cash management, payments, reconciliations) for the company’s entities using Lux GAAP (and IFRS)
- Collate monthly reporting to the Group
- Assist and drive the implementation of the accounting system
- Audit management, plus VAT and annual tax returns/review
- Responsible for budgeting and transfer pricing tasks

Candidate Requirements
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- A strong focus on accounting (ideally ACCA, CA, CPA)
- Strong experience of Bob/Sage is a requirement
- Big four experience strongly preferred
- 4-6 years of career experience – ideally mainly accounting
- Experience in accounting and reporting for alternative investment structures
- An understanding of the accounting requirements for managing a portfolio of Luxembourg holding company structures
- Consolidation and IFRS experience is an advantage
- Fluency in English
