INDUSTRIAL CITY OPERATIONS (RLIC)
Primary purpose of job
Manage, lead, and control effectively the civil engineering maintenance activities, projects, contracts and budget.
Plan and schedule effectively the inspections, maintenance activities, manpower and material in
liaison/coordination with IOA Division. Enforce the application of QATARENERGY-Corporate legislations,
regulations, policies and standards. Optimize and safeguard QATARENERGY interest, revenues and businesses to
retain the functionality and integrity of assigned RLC assets and takeover of new assets for assigned facilities / systems /
structures.
Experience & Skills
12-15 years of experience in civil engineering including 8 years’ experience in the industrial civil engineering
maintenance especially Oil & Gas or Port/Marine. Exposure to projects management will be an advantage.
Exposure to international experience and appreciation of cultural sensitivities.
Strong working knowledge of engineering/technical document control systems, practices international engineering
codes/standards and organizational and analytical techniques.
Excellent oral and written English combined with strong report writing, presentation and influencing skills. Knowledge of
Arabic will be an advantage.
Strong leadership and motivational skills. Capable of working under tight deadlines.
Education
B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering Discipline or equivalent from an internationally recognized university preferably with
professional membership in a recognized engineering society / institution
