Cashflow & Liquidity Management
- By prioritising cashflow needs vs funds available, ensure that the accounts payable and the company’s financial obligations are met efficiently, without leading the company into a position of negative liquidity.
- Finding solutions to improve efficiency, improving cash inflow, updating financial data, handling bank accounts, and exchanging foreign currency

- Review all payment requests to ensure that expenses are reasonable.
- Ensure that requests are aligned with the company’s business and are not fraudulent.
- Ensure that all payments are supported by adequate supporting documentation.
- Oversee all payment transactions such as ACH, wires, paper checks and so on
- Assist in implementation & improvement of processes that ensure best practice expenses and payments management, including but not limited to updating the delegation of authority of the organisation.
- Standardize procedures to generate efficiency in-house and create internal templates to be used by the company.
- Keeps track of the status of all transactions taking place within the company and external vendors and contractors. Be active on the customer service front and be quick and accurate with communication.
- Prompt capturing & verification
- Assist audit both external and internal with queries and year-end review
- Perform and supervise month end processes to accurately report expenses and accounts payable in accordance with IFRS. Includes payments /supplier feedback as well as balance sheet reconciliations
Provisions and Accruals
Cachbook Management
- Ensure accurate cashbook management including bank reconciliations. responsible for the accurate allocation of cash on the company's main bank accounts.
- Capturing of Bank statements, thereby ensuring correct allocation to correct accounts. Monthly reconciliations of bank accounts.
- Updating financial data, handling bank accounts, and exchanging foreign currency
- Assigning tasks to the expenses & accounts payable team in agreement with the accounting department’s goals, Checking & Monitoring on a weekly basis work by team to ensure that all transactions have been accurately recorded.
- Setting of deadlines for supplier reconciliation-
- Resolving query and communicating challenges to business

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- 3+ years' experience of working on an Accounts Payable team with supervisory tasks
- Extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable procedures.
- Excellent experience with accounting software (SAP is an advantage)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience of working with large amounts of data
- Strong analytical and presentational skills
- Strong team supervisor٫ negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to ethical behaviour with a willingness to adhere to all company policies and current financial legislation.
