    Seasonal Inventory Worker

    SCSD2 is seeking a positive, motivated, and knowledgeable seasonal inventory worker for the 2023 summer.

    This temporary position is to assist in the summer for 40 hrs. per week (prefer June 5 - June 30) for 4 weeks and contributes to the Wyoming Retirement System Employee Pension.

    WAGE: $14.00

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be detail oriented with ability to work independently in a mechanical shop environment.
    • Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned duties.
    • Valid Driver’s License, properly endorsed, and acceptable driving, and accident record.

    REPORTS TO: Lead Mechanic and Transportation Director

    JOB GOALS: To keep the district’s school bus parts inventory in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program.

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Update, clean and organize school bus parts inventory.
    • Perform data entry to update parts inventory.
    • Identify all mechanical and electrical parts on school buses per lead mechanic’s direction.
    • Maintain high standards of safety and good housekeeping methods in all work-connected areas.
    • Performs such tasks and responsibilities as the lead mechanic/transportation director may assign from time to time.

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Employment relationship with the District is at will and of indefinite duration.

    EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation.
