Job Purpose
Pega Senior Systems Architect role will be acting as a module lead or senior developer within a scrum team to ensure on-track development. Role will be responsible for working closely with the LSA, LBA, PO and configuring the designs given on the Pega platform. In addition, Pega Senior System Architect will adhere to the governance structure and processes set by the LSA to build high quality applications.
Key responsibilities
- Actively participate in the design, development and testing of the applications to deliver the use cases using Pega platform
- Influence the SA Team to ensure that the new business requirements are well understood and technically implemented according to best practices and standards.
- Understands the overall framework solution design and configures rules accordingly in appropriate layer to promote maximum reusability
- Ownership of high quality Pega rules and unit test scripts that compliments the acceptance criteria.
- Ensure the Pega application is configured with a Global perspective enabling the reusability between multiple LeasePlan’s entities
- Coach and review work of junior team members and ensure it meets the required standards
- Ensures Pega’s best practices and guardrails are considered in implementation to create scalable, secure applications.
- Ensures on-track development and escalate to project leadership of any delivery risks
- Guide and mentor junior SA’s in the team to complete their work with sufficient unit test cases coverage
- Application deployments across various environments using Pega Deployment Manager pipelines
- Independently performs problem determination and resolution of the production issues
- Create/Update the required documentations
Qualification & competenties
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field;
- Pega Certified Senior Systems Architect
- Proven track record of building model-driven business solutions using Pega in a global company;
- Ability to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly and ability to explain it to junior SAs
- 4+ years experience in building and managing applications using Pega version 8 platform
- Work experience in Pega app and dev studio and Pega Deployment Manager
