We are looking for an experienced Grocery Buyer to join our team, someone that is self-motivated, enthusiastic, proactive and a great team player with high interpersonal standards. You will need to be target driven with the ability to achieve profit margins whilst balancing competitive pricing in store.
An understanding of merchandising and operations is a must have and the ability to manage the stock range and optimise stock holding levels. You will need to display good interaction with reps with a high standard of professionalism.
Ideally this would suit someone coming from a buying role in a New World or Pak n Save and looking to further their career in a larger store.
Pak n Save Westgate is a customer focused store with a very friendly working environment that offers room for individuals to grow and develop.
This is a salaried position based on 45 hour per week, Monday to Friday, and requires early morning starts.
